CFC40: The Black Superhero Project

Activation I. November 2018

CFC40 partnered with Houston-based Honor Humanity for A Seat at the Table which provided a group of single black men and single fathers still grappling with the effects of Hurricane Harvey with a total wellness reset. Honorees were treated to a homemade gourmet meal, complimentary grooming services, and communed with a team of mentors across industries to help support their journey forward. Activation II. January 2019
Water For Flint’s Families

CFC40 will work with Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Flint, MI to solicit public donations to purchase pallets of bottled water for families in Flint, MI still affected by the water crisis. The goal is to raise a minimum of 10 palates of water with the public's support to provide clean water for families in Flint whose pipes have not been changed and who continue to deal with dangerous levels of pollutants in their water.

Activation III. March 2019
Supporting Black Women in Baltimore

Through a partnership with Baltimore-based SAGE, CFC40 will facilitate the purchase and donation of 100 GAGE boxes from SAGE's GAGE program containing everything from feminine products, items for young mothers, and materials for girls in school.
